Black Jersey Giants: Trios for $50 (1 male, 2 females), great egg layers, calm farm birds. This breed is late maturing, a true slow food animal, hens are one year old, unrelated cockerels 10 weeks. My oldest is 7 years old (she is staying here) and is very productive and also raises several broods each year. This is a long lived and long production breed.

Two Giant X hens: These girls are very large, pet tame and $15 each. Lay nice big eggs. Add one or both of these to your Giant Trio or buy the whole group for a great flock.

My birds are fed 100% natural and are parasite free. I am near Montpelier.

Besides the Giants I have two 1/2 Giant X hens, some true Araucana cockerels (one has tufts and all are rumpless) and several Muscovies.

Oh, almost forgot, one Polish cockerel, buff laced, he is gorgeous and was the 'free rare chick' that came with my broiler order (why are they always cockerels?). He is tame and quite the little baby, he does not fit in my breeding program and will probably get his butt kicked here if he stays.
