My 12 week old Golden Comet has a black growth on her face. I noticed it yesterday, although I didn't get to personally inspect the chicks for a week as I was out of town. Will someone please tell me what this is, how she got it and what to do about it? I'd also like to do any treatment as organically as possible. 3 pictures are attached. Thank you!

It is hard. I decided to make a mixture of Manuka honey, Aloe Vera juice and coconut oil to dab on it. She acted as though some of it may be tender. Seems to be another spot starting on top of her beak. I'd send a pic but can't seem to upload pix at the moment.

I don't know if I should isolate this chick or not. Someone thought perhaps it is dry pox or bott fly. I can't seem to find enough info to make me think this is one of those. Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, I do not know for sure if she is also getting a spot on top of her beak or not.

@casportpony

Are there any lesions/plaques inside the beak?
It's hard to tell from the photo, but the bump on the beak could be possibly an injury - maybe she nicked it on fencing or a feeder(?)

The large bump on the wattle - looks like it may be from a wound - I don't see any other telltale scabs/lesions on the face and comb to really indicate that it's Fowl Pox.

Does the large bump look like it will come out like a "plug"? I can't say one way or another, but I would almost be tempted to see if it comes off and express any pus that's underneath - maybe flush it well with saline or Chlorhexidine and pack it well with triple antibiotic ointment. Let see what others think first though.
