Black hard thing on chicken thigh

No difference this morning, her crop is really hard and small I think… kinda hard to tell. She is also very boney

That picture shows the lesion a lot better, and though we cannot diagnose that without a vet necropsy/autopsy, I think it looks like a skin cancer. But that doesn’t mean she is going to die from it. Can you try giving her a tsp of mineral oil or olive oil in some watery feed or cooked egg, or chilled coconut oil cut into small pieces to peck? Then try massaging the hard crop a bit several time a a day to break up a possible impacted crop. Offer some water often. Check it in the morning to see if it has emptied. If you should lose her or put her down someday, your state vet who is listed here, can do a necropsy on her:

So sorry. With the holidays, your state vet lab might not be open, but if you will be getting a necropsy, it might not be the best time. Bodies should be kept cold, not frozen, and taken to the state lab asap.
