My black hen from Myers with my mutt roo made two black chicks plus this beauty of a blue/ grey! What a special surprise. Think he could be part EE?

For future reference, 50% of his chicks from most hens should be blue. Of those chicks, not all of them will be solid blue, but they will have blue feathers.
Thank you! We got quite the mix out of him this time. I was most surprised at the Brahma Buff Light chick looking exactly like the hen. Can you help me understand how this happens?

I keep trying to get a pic of the hen and chick in the same shot but never seem to have my phone when they are next to each other. Figures. Haha

Your rooster is mixed. He likely has some of the same genes that make up the Brahma’s pattern. Those genes, plus the brahma’s genes, basically replicated her pattern. And the chick got silver from the Brahma as well.
Also, I see you have a few white chicks- one thing that will override blue/black is (dominant) white. They came from your leghorn, right?

Yes, we have a lot of leghorn chicks from this hatch and they all are mostly white with a few grey or black feathers.
