Good afternoon!

I am looking to enter our Black Japanese Bantam Roo into the fair (just for the heck of it), and was wondering what to look for regarding show qualities. I have done a little research and (I never thought I would say this about Bonsai) I think his legs are too long. How short should his legs be? Here are a few images of him....

Any thoughts on his possible show qualities? Is my short legged roo maybe not as short legged as he should be?

I'm not an expert and do not own any Japanese bantams but, I would love to offer some input :)
Japanese bantams eyes are supposed to be brown. In these photos his eyes look solid black (could be brown in person?)
Their legs should also be yellow. His legs appear slate (again maybe just photos)
Also check and see if he has any white feathers. More then a 1/4 inch of black on a feather is a DQ.
And I agree legs appear a bit long for breed.
Good Luck,
He is very beautiful :)
