Chirping
My black-laced pullet is quite a bit smaller than the other pullets. They are 12 weeks old. At first she was growing at the same rate as the other pullets, but doesn't seem to be so now. She eats quite a bit. Today I noticed one of her eyes doesn't look right either. She doesn't seem lethargic. She gets along with the other birds fine. None of the other birds have any problems with their eyes. I don't know if maybe the eye thing is from pecking from the other birds, establishing pecking order. Because of her smaller size her name is Squirt. Squirt eats, and eats quite a bit. She eats crumble feed along with some meal worms and some lettuce or a little bit of watermelon or cantaloupe. She drinks plenty as well. I give her plenty of water, and since it has been rather hot here I give the girls fresh water throughout the day with electrolytes. Her poop is normal looking. I haven't given her any treatment yet for her eye because I don't know what to do. I have included pictures below. Also, the bedding that I use is pine bedding. It has just rained, so that is why she looks wet because they didn't go inside their coop. I did a close up of her eye so you could see better what I am seeing. Any information from you guys would be a great help for me. Thank you in advance!
