Black Langshan? Cochin X Australorp? Help me ID my new hen, please? :)

I just saw this thread. I have raised Langshans in the past and your hen looks just like one. The shape of her head and face, u shaped back, tail feathers, feathered feet all look correct.

LANGHSAN! :) That looks just like the bantam Langshan that was sold to me as a Bantam Cochin. Langshan's have the dark eyes and legs and upturned tail with less feet feathering than a cochin. Cochins have yellow legs and eyes. I love this beautiful breed!

In my opinion according to what ive seen in my breeding; the chicken does look like a cochin australope cross. i have chics that are similar to that chicken. I raise cochins, polish, ,silkies ;i have a easter egg chicken, crested breeds and old english. From my experience with the various breeds ; I have learned that in cross breeding a cochin and another breed; that the feathered leg trait is dominant. The dominance of this trait is produced by breeding a rooster or hen cochin to another breed. My crested rooster x cochin hen produced a white beauty with feathered legs.
My game rooster x blue cochin hen produced adorable feathered leg blue chics. Some while back my cochin rooster x black sex-link hen and rhode island red produced black feathered leg chics. Now you see how I came to my conclusion concerning the feather leg trait being dominant.
