I have one Black Marans laying pullet available for $25 OBO.
Hatched by our broody hen in June of 2012, this girl lays a dark brown egg.
In the egg picture, the two dark brown eggs layed by this pullet are next to a white pullet egg for color comparison, and a brown Jersey Giant egg for size comparison. Also, her eggs always have the darker spots you can see in the photo.
She is not a show chicken. No feathered feet. She was from a Black Marans hen and Black Copper Marans rooster, so offspring may have a chance for the copper color.
This girl likes to talk, and likes to visit the neighbors by flying over a six foot fence, therefore she would do best in an enclosed run. Or if you have a lot of acerage, she loves to free range.
Pickup: I live in Kirkland, near Saint Edwards Park.
