Black medic (black clover)

Is it safe to feed black medic (black clover) to my chickens. It’s a weed growing in my yard and I’ve given regular clover to them by the handfuls and they gobble it up. So I decided to dig up black medic thinking it was just another clover but not sure if it’s safe to feed them. Thank you.
