Black, Oily Pooh

ok. but why do 3 of 4 chickens have this mark of "scours" and none of my friends have it?

it seems i've seen posts referring to "crusty's" as a indication of coccidiosis.

Thx all

Well simply put your friends dont have the same dirt as you. People import, dug up, lay down and speard out all kinds of dirt. And dirt differs. in yards anyway. Dont worry

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure duramycin will not work for cocci. I'm trying to get out of the house so I don't have time to research, but I think duramycin is an antibiotic, which will not work for protozoans, which is what cocci is. You will need to use something like Corid or Sulmet to work on cocci. Good luck.

So i have the corid, 20% soluble powder Coccidiostat.

if someone has dosed using corid, please tell me what i'd add to one gallon of water.

each day, i give the chickens one half gallon.

i don't have a place to refrigerate a stock solution of greater concentration.

thanks all!
