Hatched March 13, this is the only Suede baby out of five batches of eggs from that pen. No others were fertile. Hoping for a boy on this one. Wings seem to be developing like most of my Orp males, but this one's mother was thought to be a male for quite awhile. This is for Cetawin and she wants another son of Suede after losing the last one suddenly to a freak accident.

Of course it is a male...his name is Adonis. The Chicken Gods would not break my heart like that to not give me another Son of Suede after my Precious boy died last year and d'Artagnan broke his neck a couple months back...not knowing I am Suede's number 1 fan and love him as if he were my own, no it is a boy.

*waves to Adonis and says 'what a good boy you are'"
