black Orpington

I just purchased 6 black orpington straight run chicks, 3 days old. All but one has yellow tipped wing feathers. The other has smaller,black wings. Do I have 5 pullets or roosters? Or does that mean anything.

I don't know, but in buff Orpingtons the roosters will feather slower, so maybe.

at 3 days old, all we can probably tell you is that they are chicks. It would be best if you want till 6-8 weeks and post good photos then.
