My cockerel Roody has developed a black and white runny stool. He is on medicated chick starter as well as apple cider vinegar. He is one of four siblings and the only symptomatic one so far. He appears to have a good appetite and cheerful. But when I brought him in I thought he was llistless. He laid in my arms and looked around. When I took him outside and he heard his siblings he perked back up. His feathers are shiny and exept for a little white poo stuck in his tail feathers he is keeping himself groomed. I cleaned his butt featherrs and he finished preening them. Not sure what this could be, but do have field mice relatively prevalent here as we live on the edge of a forest and mice are par for the course here. Chiipmunks as well so can't put snap traps out for mice. Please could someone tell me he's going to be ok. I love him dearly.

I need to also mention that this week I started giving the babies fresh green grapes cut in half as a treat. As my husband was quick to point out how grapes and raisins affect people it makes me wonder if this is causing it. I guess too now that I think about it I have seen some runny brown poo in the last week but not entirely sure from which baby. I am going to separate them tomorrow for two hours in a cage each and figure out who is doing what....
