Hi everyone

I posted a couple of weeks ago about one of my hens having what I thought was bumblefoot. After soaking in Epsom salts for 2 weeks not much has changed. She just has what looks to be 2 black scabs (one on each foot). Her foot isn’t swollen and she isn’t limping at all, she is acting her normal self and doesn’t seem to be in pain. I have had a poke around both of her feet and there is no pus or anything. The only thing there is the plug or scab.
Please help I am wondering what to do as I am not sure what else to do. Do I just leave it until it goes away?? Do I pull out the scab?? Please help.
Sorry for the bad photo

If there isnt any redness nor swelling, leave it alone. Sometimes the scabs disappear on their own.
If there is redness and swelling, minor surgery is required to get the infection out.
Use sandpaper to eliminate splinters and burrs on roosts, lower roosts especially for heavy breed birds.
