Yes,I had them all housed together, Willy the one in the photo is the oldest, he is the father of my youngest Mr. Peep, and Big Red is about 2 weeks older. Mr Peep is getting mean and this week is when I found that both of the other ones were tormenting Willy, driving him into a corner, not letting him eat, as soon as I saw this I moved Willy into a hutch by himself, and he is still there. I put antibiotic on the three of them, 2 days now. I am going out to clean and disinfect the pen and hutches, and reapply more. Also do you think that Bag Balm would be a good thing to apply? Willy has lost feathers on the back of his head, behind the comb.

Despite the name Blackhead Disease doesn't actuall cause birds' heads to turn black. It would appear your boys just can't get along. [Boys will be boys]

Thank you for your thoughts on the black scabs. I am in the middle of the desert in AZ. I did hook up my mist system, and ran it last week all day as the temp was 105 so it could be from a bite and caused the pox. I sure hope it is from fighting and not something else. Willy Looks the worst. I still have him closed up in a hutch. He has water and food. I check on all of them about 6 times a day. I checked Willy's feathers, under his wings and his feet. He is a feather footed Silkey, so I checked his feet very close. I did see a couple of red spots on one foot that looked sore, other than that his head is the worst and it looks like the feathers were pulled (Ripped) out. when I caught Mr. Peep and Big Red ganging up on him, Mr, Peep had him by his head. OMG! I don't know what to think. I will kepp watching this. I did clean the run, nest box and the hutch's

My boy Willy is hanging in there so far. He has some white spots and I think it might be POX. I have been treating him and he does look better, he is eating yogurt and crumbles, drinking water, and has started to crow. I am still scared. I came real close to putting him down. I decided to wait until the next day to see how he was doing, and he was lots better. I sure don't want him to suffer. So far all the girls look fine, Big red has only one black scab, and Mr Peep has a little more. I am treating them also. I have dusted the pen and all of them, I also added ceder shavings to nest box. Please pray for my Willy boy. Thank you all, for the help.
