Help needed…new chicken owner here! Inserting photos for reference.

On October 4 I photographed some black dots on my chickens comb. On October 16 I noticed her earlobe had been opened/bleeding. It seemed to scab over but tonight it was reopened and bleeding again.

I’m unsure if this is a pecking issue or potentially could have been cussed by Fowlpox after seeing some other threads here.

All help appreciated. Not sure what to do.

On the comb, I see Scab, likely from pecking.

Can you get someone to hold her and take a few good clear well-lit photos of the ear?

I don't see Fowl Pox at the ear either. Possibly injury. I'd apply a small amount of triple antibiotic ointment on the ear but do take note if there's any pus, oozing or odor which may indicate infection or canker.

I’ll try to get a better photo tomorrow first thing. Thank you for your reply! If it is a pecking issue, how should I try to resolve this?
