We've already had one rooster develop from our spring purchase and now I suspect there are two more...totally new here so any help would be greatly appreciated. Comb and waffle look Rooster to me. About 4 months old.

Thank you. I'm new to this and they both are making rooster like sounds...after the last one turned out to be a rooster I'm concerned now.

Your Black sexlink is defiantly a girl because the roosters of that mix are a completely different colour.
That Leghorn I'm also sure is a hen. Young Leghorn roosters have much larger combs.
You should get some eggs soon from these two by their comb development

Black sex link cockerels will look similar to Barred Plymouth Rocks at this age so it is definitely a pullet. White Leghorns often develop their combs earlier than many breeds so it is also a pullet. Their combs are large because you should be getting eggs any day!

The top pic looks exactly like my "Lucy" and the sister is not as developed. I was concerned too that Lucy maybe Louie... What are some other things to look for the males of this breed? Do yours make almost a honking instead of a clucking sound?
Thanks for posting, and they are such pretty birds.

Yes, we have two and they are quite different in development at this point. The one pictured is very vocal.
