Black Sex Link pullets hatched March 4th. With as hot as it has been they have not been under heat lamps at all the past week or so.

The Black Sex Link is a cross between a Rhone Island Red and a Barred Rock. They should start laying around 5-7 months of age. They are a very good producer of medium to large brown eggs. "200+ eggs per year".They are a very rugged, dual purpose bird. Hens weigh between 7 and 8 lbs.
