Quick question… Can I use a blue copper Marans rooster with my barred rock hens to get a black sex link chick?

Some will be blue sexlinked but yes

Yep. Male chicks will have head spots and will be barred, female chicks won't.

I completely agree with both previous posters.. noting they are referred to in some circles as "dominant copper". as the (female) offspring will get their egg color gene influenced most by their sire and should be dark chocolate egg layers.
