Black Sex Link???

Black sex links can really vary in amount of red leakage, depending on the breeds used to make the mix, and just the individual hen. Some just have a tiny trace of red on the throat, some have reddish over most of the front of the body. They're all great layers.

I have one that has way more red than black, but as her head is feathering out, its turning more black. Looks to me like she'll wind up with a black head and tail, with a more or less red body. Wings will have red, tapering out to black. Very pretty coloring. The red is almost an orange color.
