Black silkie with white feet?

This silkie is brand new and looks black with white feet? Is that even such a thing?

One of my black silkie chicks had white down on her feet too, but it looks like black feathers are growing in now. Where did you get her from?
Oh interesting. Maybe that will happen with this one too. I got her from Feathers in Faith Farm by Austin, TX
 
I breed paints which results in white, paint, and black offspring. A lot of the blacks that hatch have some yellow/white down (light colored wingtips, feet, and underbellies all pop up fairly frequently). So far they all feather in black. I'm not sure about blacks from black x black breeding or blue/black/splash breeding but I would guess your little one will likely feather in all black as well. :)
 
I have a silver/paint looking silkie chick whose toes are literally have black skin half white skin. Its the strangest thing! But she cute hehe :love
