Hello everybody. I have a 1 year old hen which I treated for bumble foot. Bumble foot is getting better but now she has these black spots on 3 of the toes from same foot with bumble foot She’s not putting any weight on it. I live in Florida so it cannot be frost bite. I treated her bumble foot with Prid and yesterday I applied mineral oil to the toes. Thank you for your help.

Could the toe have gotten bruised or crushed? The spots on the leg look like they could be missing scales. Could she have been pecked?
Good morning. Hmmm anything is possible with these little raptors. The spots appeared after I treated her for bumble foot. She’s also limping more after treating her
At one point the skin was peeling and then these spots appeared. Now she’s not putting weight on her foot and limping.
The two videos are before I realized she had bumble foot. She am worried and confused of what could be wrong with her foot.

I would try soaking her feet in warm Epsom salts water for about 20 minutes a day, then apply some castor or coconut oil to them. She might have pecked at her own leg when her foot was hurting. Some poultry vitamins, such as 1/4 to 1/2 tablet of super B complex tablets can be crushed over her food once a day. Biotin in the B complex sometimes helps with foot skin issues.
