black spots on comb, blood? disease? will it go away?

my little brother's chicken has black spots on his comb, is it blood? will it go away? please help.

Did this just happen? I noticed some of my hens got small black spotsfrom the cold winter. may be some one else will answer.

It's one of 3 things; your chickens are getting pecked on by the other chickens or by a rooster during mating or it's fowl pox.
