Black spots on comb

What are the black dots on our hen comb? I don’t think it could be frostbite; the nighttime temps are only 45 degrees at their lowest.

Also, this black look was on the same hen’s comb about a week ago; but it seems to have disappeared, fallen off maybe? I don’t know if the two issues are related, though.

It looks like peck wounds that are scabbing up, there isn’t anything to worry about.
