Hi,
About 5 weeks ago my husband and I picked up a couple of pullets. One golden lace Wyandotte and one so called " Black Star" and I'd say they are about 12 weeks old...
Something very peculiar about the star though...her legs are bluish grey as is the skin on its beak, no sign of comb development up on the head whatsoever and the oddest thing is, the feathers on her head are straight up and down and about 2.5 in tall and filling out by the day...just like a Polish. I've been trying figure out what the heck she is...but can't find anything that states the Polish breed comes in all black. I mean she is completely black with no other color variation and has all her big girl feathers.... Can anyone help? The only black Polish pictures I've seen has some white somewhere on its body....
Thanks for any info...
