Black Star vs. Black Sex Link

Before I get the wrong one, can anyone tell me if Black Star and Black Sex Link are actually the same chicken? Same question for Reds.

They're really the same chicken, some hatcheries just call them by different names. Red rooster over barred hens.

We purchased a few chicks from a farm supply store. We thought we were getting 3 different breeds but as I read about them, it looks like 2 of them are actually the same. The 2 were kept in separate pins, one was labeled "Black Star" the other was labeled "Black Star Sex Link"? If these are the same thing, why keep them separate with different tags? I'm so confused.
