Arizona Chickens

Maybe it will make it's way down there to you.

Edited to ask you if you found those hatching egg's yet that you were looking for?
We got a lot of wind and dust and a few big drops, but no real rain.

Yes, I just put eight eggs under our broody hen. She left the nest box while I removed the wood eggs and replaced them with real ones. Then she went back in and looked surprised. "Where did all these come from?" But she didn't hesitate to settle herself down onto them and tuck them under her. She is one of the Bielefelders we bought from you and she is BIG and very fluffy and easily covered the eight eggs. She is a happy mama. 😊

I told you that they can go broody. Good luck!

Thank you! She is such a beautiful hen. A redhead and our biggest hen, the alpha of her flock. She is large and in charge!

This was just before she tucked the eggs under her. She could easily fit more. I didn't want to bother her too much with taking photos so I only took this one.

Well, I'm glad that you are happy with her.

It's raining here now.
