Hi! I can not find out how old black Sumatra’s can live to. Can someone help me

I'm not sure if you are asking the differences in breeds or if a general life expectancy of a chicken would be helpful. For chickens in general 10 is getting really old. I have seen mention of a bird or 2 older than that.8 is old to be laying eggs Many people are looking for production of eggs and don't keep them past 4 or 5.

Black Sumatras are a long lived breed, I have had 10 or 11 year old hens still laying and hatching, they are great parents. My best rooster lived to be 14 or 15 years old.
