Since these eggs are jumbo, the chicks should hatch out jumbo. When they grow, & develop they grow no larger then their eggshells. Sometimes you get those that get too large for their eggshells though.

My mom surprised me with duck eggs. Wasn't expecting that.

Turns out she also ordered me 12 Barnyard Mix hatching eggs from Amazon, which are of common breeds that I have no plans for, or need. So, those that hatch, are gonna be eaters, not keepers. Also, I don't have space to place 12 eggs in the incubator, thanks to the Duck eggs I added yesterday.

My only plan was to hatch from my project birds this year. No extras. So, now I got alot of more organizing of birds to do.

Will be candling the Smarty Pants eggs tomorrow. Will give them a little check up this morning, though cuz my incubator was being abit stupid yesterday.

Gave them a check up, & they look fine as far as I can tell(My hair kept getting into my face), but the two little eggs I have set for a friend don't look like they made it. So, I'll be chucking the quitters tomorrow.
