I don't necessarily think that it's an expression of vitiligo, but the continual progression over the years & the steady loss of pigment does remind me of it.

Down Feathers of the mother, plus original pictures included. White in wings, & down is something she always had.

She lost the pigmentation, this year, not over the years. It was rapid.(Chameleon Hen)

The only white she had on her was some on her wings originally, the rest of her was black.
