Decided to do another early update. 1 day from 2 weeks.
Don't let the large combs fool you. They mean nothing for Smarty Pants chicks. She, & her daughter had big combs as babies. They've made me think cockerel, when they weren't.

The brown chicks, & brown Barred chick are partridge.
The black breast feathers on the brown Barred, confirms he's indeed a cockerel.

Solid Brown Females have brown, patterned/laced breast feathers. Different shades though. Also one of my brown pullets crows. I've had that happen a couple times in the past.

So, far those few are sexed correctly. Waiting to confirm the sexes on the 2 barreds, & solid black.

Looking like Dino is the dad of all 6, project chicks. The partridge chicks show more evidence that he's split for partridge, though.

So, Smarty Pants is also a partridge split based on those chicks.

Next spring I'll cross Dino to this bantam hen, to rule out the Mottling theory.
