Looks like stress marks to me. I assume you feed your birds well so it could be some kind of metabolism issue for him.

It's was my Aunts bird, she was feeding them Purina 18% Chick Starter Grower feed when young, & some 20% Flock Raiser(not mixed)
It actually started getting bars around 4½ weeks. The bars just increased.


Right now she has them free ranging with a sloppy feed system.

Also never had a bird with stress marks, first time hearing about that actually.

The new guy has barely grown, & still is very scrawny. So I'm leaning towards him needing a different nutritional feeding system, or he's got poor genetics. I'll play around with nutrition before jumping to the genetics thing though.
