That's an uncommon color.

It is. It's basically a dark olive egg, but with a heavy bloom that makes them look gray.

I want to be able to talk like this someday lol

I got a bio degree focused on animals and nutrition because I wanted to be a vet... then realized the last 3 years would put me a million in debt and even then I would be a working mom, never able to actually be with my kids. So now its pretty much only useful as an odd enthusiastic hobby, or occasional boo boos or healthy eating lol. But I still enjoy the subject.

One thing I came across this morning while I wasn't even looking for it, check out Progressive Pied in Coturnix Quails? It's got striking similarities.

Moved the Easter Egger cross pullets into their adult coop. It'll be their permanent coop after the 3rd coop is built, & the Malays get moved out.

So far Introduction of the new girls is going good. No more major picking, it's gone down to small amounts of picking, & chasing. The new girls seem to like their new coop as well, as they're exploring, & attempting the feeder/trough.
