Black toes?

I think hen might of broken her leg

her toes are black and cannot move foot....arguh, we will probably have to put her down.

Black toes often mean frostbite. Are you in an area that gets very cold?

any other ideas?? she can move leg just not foot, would it heal?

Black usually means that the tissue is necrotic (dead).. you really have had some bad luck in the past week or so - the really bad CRD, the mites, and now this!!

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with so much!!

Going to be another sad night.....

The mites are still real bad, so i did the seven dust again last night, the coop and will do again in 10 days
