Black Walnuts appeared in my duck house ?!!

A metal 50 gallon drum with stinky meat wrapped in chicken wire inside. Set it next to a ledge and they will jump in to get the meat and will not be able to get out. How to kill them without drowning? put rat poison in barrel with rats. maybe your dogs will get at that too:idunno, sorry if this doesn't help but good luck!

Definitely don't use rat poison if you have dogs.
What did you bait the traps with? Peanut butter usually works. It may also be worth trying a more unusual type of trap in case they're used to one kind. Heck, even a cage trap, if you have a humane way to dispatch them once caught. Drowning is NOT humane.
Oh gosh...I would never be able to drown anything.

That's a lot of blk walnuts for the ducks to be carrying in and if they are as big as the ones here we have a lot of blk walnut trees here [native] I think they maybe to big. I bet you have squirrels burying them and the ducks are digging them up. Mine will pick up small sticks and stones and drop them inside their buckets though. Once you get the camera set up let us know what it is.

I found yesterday a few acorns and walnuts in my duck house yesterday as well! After looking at my camera I have I saw 2 young squirrels taking them in. This morning I set up a trap for them and released them about 30 mins down the road to a local park
