Black wattles

My about 20 week old buff orp pullet's wattles are turning black. Is she sick? It looks almost necrotic.

I've never heard of this- I'm hoping someone with more experience will come along!
My first thought would be necrosis too- especially if it's winter where you are and there's potential for frost bite? Otherwise I have no idea. How is the bird acting besides the wattle color? Eating/drinking/pooping typically?
