Black & White Other Fowl Photography Contest

Feathered elegance takes center stage in our 'Black & White Other Fowl Photography Contest'! Whether your subjects are black, white, or a striking combination of both, showcase the beauty of these monochromatic marvels through your lens. Let the contrast and simplicity of black and white plumage inspire your creativity. Join us in celebrating the diverse palette of black, white, or black & white "other fowl" - submit your captivating photos and compete for egg-cellent prizes!

Prizes - If entires warrant, at least three 3-month PFMs

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:

1. Four entries per member. One entry per post, please.
2. An entry is one photo of your domestic black, white, or black & white "other fowl"(ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl, guinea fowl, pigeons, etc).
3. Other fowl and animals may be in the photo, but the star(s) of the photo must be your domestic black, white, or black & white "other fowl".
4. "Other fowl" only (no chickens). Chickens may enter the 2025 BYC Calendar Photo Contest.
5. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
6. No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc., on the photo. No collages.
7. The photo needs to have been taken by you.
8. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
9. High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
10. ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
11. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
12. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
13. Entries will be accepted until June 30th, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Regarding contest timing, judging, prizes, etc.

1. All entries are entered into a spreadsheet as they are submitted & marked as qualified or disqualified.
2. Members should read the rules to ensure their entries qualify. More info here: Judged Photo Contests - What's Allowed, and What's Not Allowed
3. After the contest closes, our team will finalize the spreadsheet, and then rate all qualified photos 1-10, 10 being best.
4. Our team will announce the winners 7-10 days after the contest ends.
5. Once the winners have been announced, a link to the announcement will be added to the top of post #1.
6. If you have won a prize, you will receive a conversation within 24 hours of the winners being announced.
7. If you do not redeem your prize in 15 days, a PFM will automatically be applied to your account.
