Black Wyandotte?

I agree with Animal; for profit ease, lots of times 'purebreds' sold from popular agriculture outlets actually have other breed strains bred into them- therefore, the bird may somewhat present enough as one breed to be sold under that title, but, in reality, it's got muddled blood all for the sake of quantity.
Perhaps that's the case with your bird, but pictures would be really helpful. :idunno

Yours has dark legs and a single comb so its not a Wyandotte, Australorp is more likely. Wyandottes have yellow legs and rose combs.
I dont want to be mad because i have another black australorp hen and shes the sweetest bird. They might have mixed them up.
