Black X splash

I know black X splash is 100% blue but what shade of blue are they chicks usually or does it depend on how dark the splash is? I am just curious because I might pair up a left over black cockerel with a splash hen in the future.

No real way to predict--it sure would be nice if there were. I know some people who get darker chicks from splash x blue or black than from blue x blue or black. And others with the exacty opposite results.
