I have I young chick who is 6 months and very tiny. She is a cross breed. I think she might be losing circulation to her toes because one is already black and about to fall of and another is getting black and she douse walk interesting and her feet often get scabs. I'm worried she couldn't walk if all her little toes fell off and Im very confused on what to do I also don't have pictures. Please help and thank you

If the scabs are on the underside of her foot, look up bumblefoot. If the bumblefoot spreads throughout the leg it can be fatal but I don't have any idea if that is what you are dealing with.

The bumblefoot I have seen was just on the bottom of the foot (black scab).

I hope others chime in...there are many bumblefoot threads though to start reading if interested.

Also, if you could post a pic of the foot it might help. There is also scaly leg mites to watch out for...do the scales of the leg and foot lift up? That can also make you loose a toe or foot. But I don't know if the toe would turn black with scaly leg mites or not.
