I was playing around on the Genetic Calculator and I saw that the black birds that come out of a true Blue laced breeding are different genetically then black birds that have no relation to blue birds. I was wondering if the reason that we loose the lacing in blue birds is because they are out-crossed to black birds which makes them loose their lacing gene?
