How do I make my eggs tasty?
What am I doing wrong?
I have 2 chickens that started laying eggs about 2 weeks ago (A Delaware and Barred Rock).
I also have a rooster and 11 pullets that should start laying in a couple months.
The eggs taste so bland...much blander than store bought eggs from Costco.
I feed either Purina Flock Raiser or Dumor All Flock Pellets in a feeder all day. I add Oyster shells in a seperate container.
My chickens also eat daily a lot of chopped up veggies/fruits and leftovers (cabbage, beets, pasta, rice, celery, parsnips, sometimes cooked meat, etc).
