Yes, it surprised me no end when it occurred to me that my chickens enjoy "plush". My oldest chickens, getting up close to eight and nine, and ten years old, all love to kick back on straw-stuffed feed sacks during the day. Chickens seem to have an eye to comfort no less than dogs and cats do.
