Blast....chicken math strikes again!!

I went in TSC to look, they have been markind down chicks lately, and I wanted to see how much they had marked down the CornishXs..as I was waiting for someone to come gather 6 Cornish's for me...I noticed a little box with a light shining in it...uh oh.....had to check it out. Assorted bantams, mostly lil cochins, I fell in love with 1 but couldn't just get one (it would be all by it's little tiny self) so I saw another that looked very close to my Rizz in markings, just no frizzle feathers. So I got those 2..I have a splash and a mottled (who was lighter than the other 2 mottled chicks in the box, it may be a BLUE!!!) Aaaaack!!! Chicken math strikes again. Pictures in a little while after they get all settled in and rested up.

The big Gilman's Spring Swap in VA is next week. I wonder how much chicken math will strike there!

LOL I'm going to the Franklin one tomorrow...I want some more Cochins. But I'm taking 5 chicks with me to part with, someone already wants my 3 porcelain D'Uccles. Taking my G. Sebright Cockerel, and my Easter Egger cockerel...just cause I can't talk hubby into building enough coops to hold these 2 cockerels seperate. LOL

This is my first year doing swaps and I didn't time our bunny litters to coincide with them, so I'm going empty handed this time. I think they have another one in June I should have some bunnies ready for. How does that work? Do you just show up with critters and mill around until you find somebody to swap with and make a deal?

Edited: Wait, you're in VA! Where's this Franklin swap?? Where do I find out about these things?

It's not just a swap, you can sell them as well. Basically you show up and do your thing.

Franklin is about an hour and some change from you. It's from 8 to 2 at the TSC parking lot in Franklin, VA.
