I live in south east WI.
I took my dog in for some coughing and although there is nothing confirmed yet the vet said it could be blastomycosis (cough fever and some fluid and inflammation in his lungs) and it's not an uncommon thing where I live.
I didnt think to ask this while i was panicking about my dog, and that vet doesn't deal with poulty, but can
1. Ducks get blastomycosis
OR
2. Can ducks contribute to other animals developing blastomycosis?
I don't really know anything about this disease except that its fungal and my internet searches have not been helpful. Sorry if it's a dumb question but my ducks and dog are very near each other if ducks cause it I need to move their pen and if they can get it I just have no idea what to do
