Bleach?

I was looking up how to clean the coop after a mite infestation and remember seeing something about a bleach, water, and dawn scrubbing concoction but don't remember exactly what it was...so my question is can I clean my coop with bleach and will it help with the mites?

Bleach will disinfect your coop but it won't do anything to kill the mites. Not a bad idea to use once you get rid of the mites but it won't take care of them.
