Not sure I'm in the right category. A friend wants to know how to get her white peacock feather white ( the ones that are not on the bird). She wants to do some arrangments with them. She said she has tried bleach with no luck. Does some one have any suggtions for her. She also wanted to know if any one knows anyhting about painting on feathers. We have seen some very pretty ones and she wants to try it. What type of paint should she try?

What about blueing(sp?) it is in the laundry detergent section. It is make to make whites WHITE. But becareful not to add to much because it will make them blue.

I use it when I wash my white ducks and chickens to go to shows. So it can be uses on feathers safely. Just a few drops will do.

Possibly try the "peroxide" that is sold at the beauty supply
places?
