Bleeding comb that won't stop

The bleeding has stopped and the comb is healing, although it looks like a piece needs to be re attached. I was strongly considering having someone trim (dub) the comb if she didn't stop messing with it and making it bleed more. I still have her separated from the others. Wondering when it is safe to put her back - and if the others will accept her back in easily.

Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated!

. . . I am so new to "chickens" but I am LOVING IT!!! We got 8 chickens at Easter and have received the first beautiful eggs from them this past week! 18 of them, and they aren't even all laying yet!

Think I might have to start my own blog called "house pet chickens".

I think our little patient is starting to like her new home in the house!

I had some success with white granulated sugar. You know how roosters will get a little bloody, so I dip whatever is bleeding in the sugar. Sometimes it takes several try's. Keep the bird immobile. If it is the foot area, try petting the bird as you gradually roll them over on their backs to get the foot elevated. Calm them down. After the bleeding has stopped & dried up, be sure to use the BluKote.
