Bleeding comb

My 15 week old hen has injured her comb and it is bleeding. The only bleed stop I could find was in a stick form. TSC was out of it. When I use the stick it only seems to bleed worse. How do I get it to stop bleeding? Should I just go ahead and put the blu kote on it?

Try holding gauze on it for a while. if the comb is large you can just tape it on by sticking the tape to the other parts of the comb. Other ways you could wrap the head in gauze.

If the bleed inst bad it would do fine with blu kote or antibiotic and stop on its own.
