Bleeding cut on comb

Today my 20 week old light brahma fought with my GLW. The GLW was pecked on the comb several times, and has a lump of skin sticking out, and is bleeding slightly. I cleaned the wound with saline solution, and have just put her to bed. Is there anything else I should be doing to make sure it doesn't get infected? I have attached a picture below.

I think you might be surprised by how fast it heals.

if it keeps bleeding though you can put cornflour to dry it up safely

Thanks. I am new to this, and just want to make sure nothing goes wrong. I guess I'm quite an overprotective chicken mama!

Combs can bleed quite profusely, but stop rather quickly.
It can be rather alarming when they shake their bleeding head and blood drops fly all over.
Best to leave it alone.
